Memorial Cup Schedule

Did you notice all my predictions for the game sevens were wrong? That's right: the NHL is as hard to predict as it is to eat soup like a fork and knife.

Don't look for too many updates around here for a while. Me and Mrs. NYIFORLIFE.com will be living the jet set life on a vacation out west. No truth to the rumor that we're sweeping into Phoenix to make a bid for the Coyotes, either. But we are going someplace hot and hopefully sunny.

While the NHL moves into the Conference Finals, the Canadian Junior ranks will hold their own hardware tournament, the Memorial Cup. Our friends over at the NHL Network (how did we live without you?) will be showing all the games in the tournament. I got to see some of the Memorial Cup last year and it was a heck of a lot of fun. Here's the schedule below:

And there is actually some Islanders news: Dan Lacroix has been let go and the word is that the Islanders will be looking to replace him with an assistant coach with "ties to the organization" to help out on the defensive end. We all know that our young d-core need a coach just for them.
