Frozen Four update

I just got finished watching last night's Frozen Four games on the DVR.

Miami of Ohio sent Cinderella Bemidji State home in a cab but the second game, Boston University against Vermont, was a heck of gem. In case you missed it between the Masters pop-ups and baseball highlights, the Terriers won 5-4 on a late third-period goal by Colin Wilson.

To say that ESPN is annoying is not only beating a dead horse--it's also lighting the horse on fire and shooting it six times. Thank goodness we only have to deal with them Saturday for the final for a few hours. Then I can go back to my embargo.

Terriers' defenseman Matt Gilroy will be on the market Saturday after the game. He's a free agent and from Long Island, so hopefully Garth & Ryan will make a push for the Hobey Baker finalist. Scuttlebutt is that Toronto "leads the Gilroy sweepstakes" even though Gilroy said he wouldn't discuss offers until after his season ends.

Got to love the Toronto media, eh? They have the Leafs making a push for everybody; like it is a birthright that Toronto has to be in any sweepstakes there are.
