An uninspired 6-2 loss to the Bruins brings an end to the Islanders season. Now we get to put all of our hope into ping pong balls and local government. Made me nervous just typing that sentence.

The Sound Tigers will be facing the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the American League Playoffs. Bridgeport finished 49-23-3-5 for 106 points and also had an amazing 62 points at home.

The Tigers will be invading the Coliseum for their first two playoff games this Friday and Saturday nights before playing game 3 in Wilkes-Barre on Sunday afternoon. Gotta love those AHL schedules.
