Islanders sign first-round pick Josh Bailey to three-year, entry-level contract
NewYorkIslanders.com reports that Josh Bailey celebrated his 19th birthday today with a three-year entry-level contract with the New York Islanders. Bailey, a center, was selected ninth overall in the draft this past June and has been attending Islanders training camp. The contract is a standard NHL entry-level contract.“This is an exciting day for the organization as we continue to build our team with young players like Josh who have very bright futures,” said Islanders General Manager Garth Snow.
