John Buccigross

I just want to mention this because the baseball-obsessed newspaper editors never would admit to this being reality.

It's from John Buccigross' column on ESPN.com. Yes, Buccigross works for ESPNBA (and we hope he doesn't get a lashing for mentioning this) but he did used to host (the lamented and lost) NHL2Night back in the day on ESPN2. So that makes him cool with us. Here's the quote:

"In case you missed it two weekends ago, the NHL on NBC (Bruins-Penguins and Rangers-Islanders, regionally) drew a larger national audience than ABC's NBA telecast (Suns-Kings)."
